Pickled Banana Peppers


Ingredients

  • 10-12 banana peppers - sliced
  • 1 large garlic clove - chopped
  • 3 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Preparation

  1. Add vinegar, water, salt and sugar to a medium pot. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add chopped garlic and banana peppers to a glass jar.
  3. Ladle hot liquid into the jar. Process in water bath for canning or refrigerate as desired.
